Jimmy has traveled to seven Luthier schools throughout the western United States and Canada.

From musicians institute in Hollywood California then to Roberto Venn in Phoenix Arizona also 2 visits to the Summit School of Guitar building in Qualicum beach B.C. Canada.  

Jimmy studied With renowned Sigmond Johannson there….🎸

Jimmy’s journey also took him to Portland Oregon with the one and only Charles Fox of American school of Lutherie not once but twice .

Also Fretworks with Miles Jones in Calgary Alberta Canada and finally learned from Master Luthier Alex Watson of Watson guitars …

Alex is the one who really took Jimmy Luthier craft to the next level!! 

His care and inspiration and dedication to Jimmy is a key factor in his story🎸

Jimmy has done thousands of the repairs for the local music store called musicians outlet in Palm Desert California from 2008 to 2010.

Then Jimmy went on his own from 2010 to 2020 . He owned and operated the Guitar E.R. and did most of the repairs in the Coachella valley for local musicians and rock stars throughout the world including amazing musicians like Martin Motnik of Accept & Solo Artist.
